Caterpillar invites applications for a Tariff Classification Analyst to join our Trade Compliance team in Sosnowiec. As a vital member of our global team, you will contribute to ensuring the effectiveness of our classification processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Determining Tariff Classification for Caterpillar products and their parts, dealer tools, and associated goods moving across borders for the enterprise
  • Assessing admissibility into destination countries, duties owed, quotas, special trade program eligibility, and sanctions
  • Applying accurate Import and Export Tariff Classification using Harmonized Tariff Schedules and other international trade agreements
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing, and Logistics divisions to optimize processes
  • Communicating with requestors and external customers

Your Ideal Profile:

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to transform numerical data into insights
  • Knowledge of technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficient communication skills in English and Polish
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications
  • Open-minded and adaptable personality
