COWI, a global engineering design consulting organization, invites experienced process engineers to join our team. We are seeking individuals with expertise in chemical processes such as carbon capture, storage, and utilization (CCUS), hydrogen, methanol, and ammonia (Power-to-X), electrolysers, bioethanol, pyrolysis, gasification, and petrochemical processes.

As a Process Engineer at COWI, you will make a direct impact and shape the direction of the global green energy transition. You will work alongside motivated colleagues specializing in chemical and thermal processes, carbon capture, energy generation, electrical, piping, and mechanical engineering on significant projects within green fuels and energy.

You will have the opportunity to be part of process collaboration on large-scale international projects. Our broad expertise enables multidisciplinary collaboration in energy storage, green hydrogen, e-fuels, and different biomass conversion processes.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • ">
  • Preparation of feasibility, concept, and FEED studies.">
  • Supporting senior process engineers in preparing and drafting process flow diagrams, PIDs using E3D P&ID and AutoCAD.">
  • Assisting senior process engineers in preparing/reviewing engineering documents like process calculations, specifications, philosophies, datasheets, PFDs, and P&IDs.">
  • Providing technical support related to process engineering during concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed engineering stages of the project.">
  • Collaboration with colleagues in different regions and disciplines to overcome obstacles and ensure the quality of deliverables.">

To succeed in this role, you must be eager to collaborate with people across borders and disciplines, share knowledge, and build positive relationships. Additionally, we expect you to have:

  • A Master's degree in process engineering with at least 3+ years of experience as a process engineer.">
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.">
  • Good interpersonal skills.">
  • Expertise within at least one of the following areas is beneficial: Process simulation using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, Pro-II or similar software. Carbon capture Electrolysers/green hydrogen and E-fuels (methanol & ammonia etc.) Biofuels and biomass conversion (gasification, pyrolysis etc.)">

Our estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
