RockSling Analytics is a tech company providing data-driven solutions for private equity investors. We help sophisticated institutions access advanced analytics about the risks and returns of their private equity portfolios through our proprietary machine-learning tools. We are part of the Clipway group.

We are looking to expand our private equity fund analytics and data extraction capabilities with an Analyst to join our team in Warsaw, Poland.

The role involves working within the product team, focused on the analysis of private equity documents such as quarterly reports, capital accounts, and financial statements provided by fund managers. The Analyst will:

  • Leverage in-house AI tools
    to input and maintain fund- and portfolio-level data, supporting clients' portfolio monitoring needs
  • Perform validation and quality assurance checks
    to ensure financial data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
  • Source, analyze, and extract financial information
    on funds and portfolio companies from financial reports, feeding client databases with high-quality insights
  • Develop deep expertise in RockSling's AI tools
    , becoming a subject-matter expert trusted by clients and internal stakeholders who rely on these insights for investment and strategic decision-making
  • Engage directly with RockSling clients
    , providing ongoing support and communication throughout the entire project life-cycle
  • Collaborate with the development team
    to continuously enhance and streamline the RockSling Analytics platform

Requirements:

  • Fresh graduate or final year of master's degree in finance
  • Understanding of the private equity industry
  • Understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting principles
  • Basic knowledge of corporate finance and financial modelling
  • Good Excel skills
  • Previous experience in portfolio monitoring, fund analytics, risk management, valuations is a plus
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Willing to work in a tech company that is disrupting the private equity industry
  • Ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines, and to adapt to a fast-moving environment
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work in an international environment
