Head of Finance Service Centers

Summary

The Head of all Financial Service Centers (FSC) will provide leadership, strategy and direction for the service center operations to ensure internal clients' expectations are continuously met/exceeded.

In this role, you'll provide and promote a working environment for all employees stimulating their performance and development as well as conforming to company culture and values.

The Head of all FSCs works with the Global Process Owners and Finance Directors on enhancing operational discipline and company-wide areas of scalability and efficiency, performance improvement, and service enhancement within Finance.

Key responsibilities

FSC Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and manage FSC service model, strategy, and value proposition with Finance Operations Head.
  • Drive global Finance transformation and ensure integrated end-to-end processes for quality and efficiency.
  • Prepare and monitor FSC budget; set and manage deliverables with Finance Directors and Global Process Owners.

Operational Excellence

  • Deliver high-quality, efficient finance services and demonstrate value through KPIs and Quality Assurance.
  • Implement change, best practices, and improvement initiatives across FSCs and other transactional areas.
  • Ensure data security, cost control, segregation of duties, and strong internal controls.

Reporting & Key Relationships

  • Agree on KPIs, SLAs, and service scope; report performance and maintain transparency.
  • Partner with Finance leaders and stakeholders through regular reviews and change communication.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and support integrated models with Digital Transformation Services.

Team & Talent Management

  • Lead the FSC organization and attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Motivate teams for exceptional results and ensure ongoing technical and non-technical training.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Experience guiding and mentoring teams in international service center environments.
  • Good understanding of Finance Service Center operations and accounting principles.
  • Skilled in stakeholder collaboration, including with client teams and external partners.
  • Experience supporting organizational change and transformation initiatives.
  • Proficient in English; additional language skills are welcome.
