About the role
- Territory: West Pomeranian Voivodeship (Szczecin , Koszalin)
- We are looking for Technical Support Engineer for BD Integrated Diagnostic Solutions in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, primarily dedicated to providing technical support in western and northern Poland, as well as the rest of Poland, with occasional in CEE countries. Engineers ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service, which includes corrective and preventative maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, basic operator training, and effective incident and customer inquiry management. In this role, you will be responsible for performing on-site (preventive) maintenance of complex measurement devices to resolve issues and ensure their long-term operation.
Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Perform repair, upgrade, and maintenance of microbiology laboratory equipment at the customer site, especially in your assigned region
- Prioritization, planning and execution of your activities according to the BD COR processes and the defined customer service level agreements
- Maintaining the personal tool and spare part's warehouse at an appropriate level for the successful execution of your tasks
- Handle the escalation and resolution of complex technical issues reported by the Customer Service Desk, customers and local service organizations
- Conduct basic technical training for customers
- Perform instrument failure analysis, screening and follow-up to continuously improve reliability
- Documentation and maintenance of all relevant data in the BD Service Management systems to ensure optimal data accuracy and high-quality customer reporting.
About You
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a field technician
- Locate around Szczecin, Koszalin or possibly Słupsk
- Bachelor's degree education/study in a technical field (medical technology, biomedical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, etc.).
- Fluent Polish, very good communication skills in English
- Highly welcome experience supporting middleware solutions in hospital or laboratory IT environment, knowledge of information systems, including computer hardware, Operating System configuration, network design and troubleshooting and virtualization technologies, will be an added advantage.
- Occasional travelling within Europe is no problem for you.
- A valid European class B driving license.
