Category Manager – Indirect spend

About the team and role

Are you interested in taking a key role in supporting 3Shape's rapid growth? We offer a unique opportunity in our Global Procurement team to deliver impact in an ambitious and entrepreneurial environment.

We are looking for someone ideally with experience in IT or procurement who is eager to develop in indirect spend and join us in managing the IT category.

Your responsibilities:

• Strategy - You will be responsible for creating, maintaining and executing the short- and long-term strategies for your assigned category.
• Negotiation - As a good negotiator, you will have the commercial responsibility for all major negotiations within your assigned category, supporting the organization in getting the best possible commercial conditions.
• Spend overview and categorization - You will create and maintain an overview of the indirect spend category assigned including a full mapping and understanding of all the relevant stakeholders.
• Best practice - You will support the organization with the best practice for supplier selection and negotiation to make sure all projects are carried out professionally.
• Responsible for mapping and rolling out Indirect spend procurement processes in connection with new ERP system

Qualifications

• You have experience in IT/procurement and are eager to develop in Category Management - Indirect Spend area.
• You can work closely and interact with individuals at various levels and from different cultures.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experienced negotiator with a proven track record.
• In depth knowledge of procurement processes related to ERP systems
• You are fluent in English.
• You are enthusiastic about delivering.
