Business Development Manager

For Analityk Jena, a company that is part of the Endress+Hauser Group, we are currently looking for a Business Development Manager. Analytik Jena develop, manufacture, and distribute instruments for chemical and molecular biological analysis. These solutions are used in science and industry to ensure food quality and detect environmental and health risks.

Which tasks will you perform?  

  • Maintain and expand Analytik Jena's broad Polish customer base that include laboratories, industry, authorities and multi-national key accounts, 
  • Expand customer relationships through personal contacts, on-site visits, and collaboration with sub-regional sales agents as well as AJ's German headquarter departments
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and campaigns, and conduct customer events, trade shows, product demos etc.
  • Monitor the regional sales pipeline and report directly to Sales Manager Europe
  • Your role shall further strengthen the AJ brand in Poland both in terms of visibility and customer satisfaction

What do we expect from you?  

  • Degree in natural sciences or business administration.
  • Experience in business development or sales, ideally in laboratory analysis or related industries.
  • Strong industry, market, and product knowledge in chemical analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Polish and English.
  • High level of goal orientation and assertiveness.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 80%).
