We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead statutory reporting and oversee a GL team supporting our French entity. This is a remote role based in Poland, ideal for someone fluent in French and English, with strong expertise in French GAAP, tax regulations, and US GAAP. What You'll Do:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts

  • Team oversight (2 GL Senior Accountants)

  • Performing month end close activities

  • Support and coordination of the team to ensure a timely completion of month end tasks

  • Close collaboration with Business Finance

  • Involvement in VAT and other tax matters

  • Preparation and approval of various journal entries

  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet flux

  • Supporting Ad-Hoc management reporting

  • Participation in various projects

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and French

  • BA degree in finance or management related field

  • Experience in managing the Team

  • At least eight years of experience in accounting

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP

  • Strong knowledge of French GAAP, French tax and statutory regulations

  • Experience in working with at least one widely used ERP system e.g. PSFT, iScala

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Accounting qualification is nice to have
