Be an important contributor to our team, enhancing the quality of sustainable energy initiativesVestas Technology & Operations > Quality > Nacelles Quality AssuranceNacelle Quality Assurance is part of Global Vestas manufacturing & Supply chain Quality team, responsible for safe launch of new products in manufacturing factories. The team closely collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing in planning and execution of quality assurance activities. We represent the voice of customer for quality until handover to serial production stage. Our accountability and responsibility are all based on the principles in the APQP4Wind concept - all transferred into what we call the "Manufacturing Baseline Package" in Vestas product development.ResponsibilitiesAct as manufacturing quality lead in scoping, planning & co-ordinate execution of quality assurance activities & deliverables in the projectContinuously evaluate the quality risk related design, process, material, and tooling and secure corrective actions are in placePerform root cause analysis for critical failures and drill through systemic cause to avoid recurrence of non-conformitiesShare lessons learned and best practices between factories & projects across deploying closed loop quality frameworkShop floor/Gemba validation on the inbound, manufacturing & outbound process and verify the production basis documentationSupport the project with quality requirements, performance indicators with targets and report periodically; Manage deviations and escalate to Steering committee to ensure project quality is always on trackSupport functional excellence with continuous improvement and global standardization initiatives in the quality functionQualificationsYou hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering within Mechanical engineering, production engineering or similar subjects.
