We are looking for a Global T&E Controls & Accounting Leader to ensure consistent, timely, and effective execution of global controls within the Travel & Expenses (T&E) process. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring key controls, identifying gaps, and driving alignment and standardization across all regions. The position leverages automation, enhances efficiency, and safeguards process integrity, collaborating closely with global and regional leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Provide global guidance to business partner organizations by monitoring and driving T&E process performance, with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Maintain overall oversight into the accuracy and integrity of T&E-related financial accounts and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with reporting and analytics teams to design operational metrics and dashboards; oversee scorecard results and collaborate with global and regional leaders to ensure business objectives remain on track.
• Lead complex ad hoc analysis of T&E processes and provide recommendations to address risks and inefficiencies.
• Ensure effective collaboration with local stakeholders to improve compliance, reduce policy violations, and deliver actionable insights.
• Achieve results by working closely with offshore and regional teams, without having direct reporting lines.
• Provide ongoing coaching and knowledge sharing to embed a culture of compliance, process excellence, and continuous improvement within the global T&E organization.
• Ensure sustainable global compliance by assessing the effectiveness of internal processes, controls, and risk management within the T&E function.
• Standardize global T&E policies and control activities, ensuring consistent application across all regions.
• Act as the global control owner, responsible for monitoring gaps, driving remediation actions, and ensuring strong governance in partnership with Finance, Audit, and Risk teams.
• Maintain close partnership with the governance and controls organization to ensure that controls are kept current, and adapt with new technologies and process changes.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience. Demonstrated successful performance in a role of similar global scope and breadth.
• Strong understanding of Travel & Expenses (T&E) processes, controls, and accounting treatment; awareness of key dependencies with T&E activities (policy compliance & controls, reconciliations, card management, reporting).
• Proven ability to deliver strategic processes through influence, lead and implement process improvements, and drive accountability across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to make sound decisions in complex and/or ambiguous business environments.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a history of building strong relationships with stakeholders, business partners, and external suppliers.
• Track record of identifying process and internal control enhancements, driving global standardization, and leveraging automation to improve efficiency, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
• Knowledge of Lean principles preferred.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Polish would be a strong asset.
