Programmer / Technologist for Optical 3D Systems (ZEISS ScanBox)

Job Requirements
Tasks

• Software Implementation and Optimization: Implementation, testing, and optimization of software controlling measuring devices, primarily optical systems.
• Measurement Programming and Validation: Creating measurement programs in accordance with customer technical requirements (including multipart measurements).
• Quality Analysis and Reporting (GD&T): Crucial: Conducting quality tests and analyzing 3D data, particularly preparing GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) reports.
• CAD Collaboration/3D Data: Analyzing deviations between scanned 3D coordinates and reference CAD data (3D models).
• Support and Training: Conducting training for operators on the use of optical devices and associated software (e.g., ZEISS INSPECT) and providing ongoing work support.
• Problem Resolution: Solving problems related to hardware and software operation, and proposing new solutions.
• Standardization and Documentation: Maintaining documentation according to guidelines and proactively proposing improvements and standardization of work.
• Fixtures: Designing and selecting fixtures/holders for mounting measurement parts.
• Team Collaboration: Close cooperation with other engineers and departments (e.g., production, engineering).

Work Experience
Required Qualifications (Requirements)

• Education: Higher technical education (preferably Metrology, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
• Metrological System Experience: Crucial: Practical knowledge of optical 3D measurement systems (e.g., ZEISS ScanBox / ATOS).
• Tools and Software: Practical knowledge of specialized tools and programs, especially ZEISS INSPECT.
• Engineering Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English enabling free technical and business communication (B2/C1).
