Role overview

 

Senior Specialist, Transport & Distribution Contract Execution is part of Center of Excellence team within Transport Control Tower (TCT). TCT CoE team is working closely with various stakeholders across the Carlsberg Group to ensure best in class delivery of services by close cooperation with carriers and daily contract management execution.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Specialist, Transport & Distribution Contract Execution is to lead initiatives aimed at optimizing supply chain processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing best practices to drive operational excellence. Furthermore, ensure that invoice-handling and claim processes are standardized and working efficiently and effectively. 

  

What you’ll be doing

 

  • To lead and support the E2E Carlsberg Excellence Implementation for defined supply chain operations.
  • Train, Coach and Assess the implementation of the Carlsberg Excellence Foundations and the relevant Advanced Carlsberg Excellence Processes and Standards
  • Oversee the accurate processing, verification, and reconciliation of supplier invoices against contracts and purchase orders to ensure timely and correct payments
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments, collaborating with suppliers and internal finance teams to ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving contractual disputes, claims, and non-compliance issues with suppliers, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Develop and manage a structured process for handling claims related to supply chain contracts, including damage, delays, and other non-conformances, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with key suppliers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages transparency, innovation, and continuous improvement resolving issues and ensuring that problems are handled promptly
  • Performing opportunity & risk analysis and reports performance
  • Supporting and taking part in improvement, optimization, and standardization processes within the Carlsberg group and team

 

 

What we’re looking for:

we’re looking for a person who

 

  • has worked in Supply Chain before, with a preference for candidates with experience in the transportation area
  • has a University degree (min. Bachelor’s degree), educational background in logistics would be an asset
  • has worked in, and enjoys working in a diverse, and international environment
  • has a fluent proficiency in written and spoken English
  • navigates easily in Office365 environment and has hands-on knowledge of MS Excel
  • understanding of logistics terminology would be an asset
  • has solid experience in maintaining the integrity of large volumes of data
