Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, works within a specialized function with work verified on an as-needed basis. Develop and provide weekly and monthly situation reports. Must generate tracking tools as needed for visibility of work performed by crafts in compliance with the KBR contract or US Army requirements. The individual will prepare reports and create MS Excel spreadsheets and Word reports. The Customer Specialist must always interact clearly and professionally with customers (internal and external), maintain all files (current and historical) and perform all other administrative duties normally generated in an office environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Independently assess and apply standard customer service techniques and procedures.

  • Exercise judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications as needed.

  • Assist in designing larger and more complex customer service assignments.

  • Work on plans, investigations, and surveys with relatively few complex features.

  • Impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations through correct task performance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • English. Strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills required

  • Experience using basic Microsoft office package application

  • Possess a high level of professionalism

  • Proficiency in using MAXIMO or ability to learn the system.

  • Runs reports in Excel and word format

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • In-depth knowledge of computer skills, knowledge of MS Access, and PowerPoint is a plus

  • Must be capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.

  • Must be very efficient and detailed-oriented with excellent work ethics.

  • Work on different schedules and able to handle multiple tasks.

  • Work with large groups of employees in a department

  • Able to coordinate tasks with supervision and employees.

  • Assist employees with various daily tasks

  • Take work-related directions from the supervisor without hesitation

  • Understands the importance of safety and quality.

  • Assists supervision on various tasks
