The Role

Imperial Brands, a global, inclusive, innovative FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees is looking for the Supply Chain Distributions Solutions Manager to join our growing GSC in Warsaw.

The successful candidate in the role will be, together with his team colleagues, responsible for the continuous improvement and optimization of the E2E Planning & Supply distribution solutions with emphasis on IBs cross-border business entity (Imperial Tobacco International GmbH).

The SC Distribution Solutions Manager is key to provide technical expertise to support, including implementation of Blue Yonder (E2E Programme) and SAP S/4 Hana (Unify Programme) for the complex and diverse cross-border sales and replenishment operations (80+ countries, 30+ shipping points, 400+ users), manage and/ or coordinate transition and improvement initiatives within E2E Planning & Supply, partnering with business stakeholders, internal and external IT consultants and suppliers.

Location - Warsaw and Poznan 

Principle Accountabilities

 

  • Responsible for the continuous improvement and optimization of IB distribution solutions with particular focus on the export/ cross-border business incl. linked replenishment processes
  • Acting as internal consultant related to cross-border-relevant processes and systems as well as supporting customer service and distribution teams in E2E-oriented initiatives
  • Managing and supporting projects within E2E Planning & Supply with emphasis on the export/ cross-border business incl. design, build, testing, training, cutover/go-live and hypercare
  • Providing expertise and support for applied systems, namely SAP ECC, APO & MDG including integration setups to other systems (e.g., Cargosoft, WMS, Local ERPs, QAD, C&T)
  •  Providing second level business support and driving resolution of IT incidents raised by business users
  •  Acting as Key Contact between Project Managers, Business and IT translating business requirements into development needs and implementing them

Skills and Experience Required

 

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management (customer service, distribution, export, logistics)
  • Sound IT knowledge (SAP in particular)
  • Experience in Project Management/Coordination
  • English fluent written and spoken
  • Understanding of the global business and the interdependencies of other groups
  • Ability to adapt to different cultures, communicate well, team player, intercultural sensitivity
