An exciting opportunity has become available to join Boeing Poland sp.z o.o. as Experienced AvionX Systems Engineer based in Poland.

Boeing develops and produces avionics and electronics systems designed for use on aircraft and other platforms for purposes such as navigation, flight controls, information systems, and other core avionics functions. We have set our sights high - to design, develop, and manufacture the most technically advanced and reliable avionic components in the world. We are innovating and developing new products to address the future of the urban air mobility as well as our next generation of commercial, tactical, and trainer aircraft markets.

The successful candidate will join the AvionX Poland team, an innovative, multi-disciplinary team of avionics engineers designing, developing, testing, and delivering embedded avionics systems for commercial aircraft.

Job Description Summary

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsibilities will span the system development lifecycle
  • Analyze customer use cases to define system requirements
  • Perform functional modeling of system behavior
  • Develop system architectures
  • Perform technical analyses of design proposals
  • Conduct functional, performance, and environmental testing of avionics systems
  • Develop verification and certification artifacts


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • English proficiency
  • 5+ years of professional experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Willingness to learn and work with new technologies
  • Demonstrated design and system thinking skills
  • Experience in DO178C standards
  • Experience in system architectures
  • Familiar with LDRA/VectorCAST
  • Familiar with RBT
  • Interest in Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • Collaborating in international and multi-national projects
