We are seeking an experienced Lead Accountant for our client, ideally with international experience. A strong knowledge of IFRS is essential, and familiarity with US GAAP is a valuable plus.

The Shared Services Center is located in Stargard, West Pomerania. The ideal candidate is expected to work from the office for three consecutive days each month, with accommodation expenses covered by the company. Description

Financial Reporting and Compliance:
  • Prepare financial statements, tax calculations, and external reports, ensuring all deadlines and SLAs are met.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and reporting processes for financial statements, taxes, and external statistics.
  • Manage and review the Trial Balance for assigned legal entities, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of any issues.
Audit and Support:
  • Act as the central point of contact for all internal and external audits, leading document collection and responding to audit queries.
  • Support other finance teams in resolving issues related to assigned legal entities.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Maintain strong communication with business partners, including shared service center teams, site leaders, and external consultants.
  • Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality results on time.

Profile

  • Finance experience with a strong understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS (US GAAP is a plus) and SOX compliance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in preparing financial statements and handling auditing tasks.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Polish, with strong communication skills.
  • Experience working with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, with strong presentation skills.
