We are looking for talented and highly motivated consultant with an open mindset to be responsible for designing and developing customer-tailored cloud applications based on SAP Commerce.

What you’ll do

As part of our team, you will be involved in the whole project development life-cycle - starting with workshops with a customer, through planning, designing, implementation, till go-live, and project handover. You will code. You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers and developers on technical solutions as well as regular customer discussions. This is a hands-on, highly technical role requiring strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills and experience. You will be also encouraged to spread your knowledge and expertise within your team, as well as outside it.

The key responsibilities of this role:

• Understanding and translating business requirements into a functional and technical implementation
• Designing technical solutions
• Full understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the customers technical environments
• Ensuring coding standards and best practice synergies across projects and teams
• Close collaboration with customers, developers, project managers and business analysts
• Providing technical assistance in pre-sales activities
• Working with customer architects and developers to understand technical requirements
• Participating in cross-department knowledge sharing
• Coordinating and delegating tasks and reviewing code of team members
• Coaching and mentoring junior/external team members
• Taking part in customer-facing activities, mostly remotely although occasional travel a few times per year
• Strong focus on high-quality throughout the entire development process

About the team

We are the Innovation Projects team. We work hard and play hard. The team is responsible for designing and developing commerce implementations (web stores, PCM, integrations with 3rd party systems like CRM or payment providers). We also update and migrate existing customers to the new Commerce Cloud Platform, ensuring close collaboration with product teams. Besides providing our clients the top-class solutions, we do not forget about meeting and celebrating together and bringing cakes to the office for no specific reason.
