Who we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our airspace industry project. This multi-year opportunity may require occasional travel within Europe.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring consistency and repeatability.
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications and services.
  • Integrate automated testing and quality assurance processes into the CI/CD pipelines to ensure high code quality and rapid delivery.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into the performance, reliability, and security of applications and infrastructure.
  • Use tools such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor to set up monitoring and logging.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to support the deployment and operation of applications and services.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams on DevOps best practices and tools.
  • Ensure that infrastructure and applications are designed and implemented for high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure that security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement security controls, such as secrets management, encryption, and access controls.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Higher Education - minimum bachelor’s level.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and related services.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and ARM templates.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Argo CD or Azure DevOps), Git, Artifact management (such as Nexus Sonatype).
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
