We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Software Developer to join a cross-functional collaborative project team, that delivers a crucial part in Vattenfallâs digital transformation â enabling our business units and customers to thrive on data in order to increase profitability and enable a fossil-free living. 

 

What will you do?

  • Develop Vattenfall's leading IoT and Energy Management platform and solutions
  • Effectively collaborate with the project team to achieve common goal
  • Work in DevOps scrum team closely with Business Areas to endure solid understanding of customer needs for new business (e.g., electric vehicle charging, batteries, heat pumps, wind turbines and solar paners) as well as core business (e.g., distribution, hydro and district heating)
  • Together with the team you will plan an active role in setting and implementing the technical direction

Location  

Katowice or Gliwice in Poland


Qualifications

Who you are?

As our Software Developer you will bring some years of experience in full stack development, preferably using C#, .NET Core programming (both for application an Ul development), NodeJS,  excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team member.

Next to this you bring: 

  • An academic degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Management or another relevant field
  • Docker knowledge
  • Agile mindset
  • Good communication skills in English

It would be an average if you have (one or more of following):

  • Experience in Modbus-TCP, OPC-UA, Modbus-Serial, MQTT, AMQP etc. 
  • Experience in Azure DevOps (Pipelines/tests)
  • Experience with modern Source Control Management like Git 
  • Experience in frontend development 
  • Experience in Phyton
  • Experience of sensors and gateways
  • Basic network knowledge, router configuration skill
