It is a complex business intelligence application, serving 100,000 customers, utilising data from over 500 million Zendesk users and 40+ external data source connectors. Explore is responsible for ingesting millions of records from the Zendesk product family and then allowing them to be queried and visualised at low latency - and all that at scale

The Vega team is responsible for building customer facing applications in the Zendesk Explore product. Weâre looking for a Frontend Software Engineer II, who would help us build and maintain the Explore Roles & Permissions system and other critical features for Explore customers.

  • Work closely with the team of experienced Engineers, contributing to technical decisions.

  • Work in an autonomous team being able to build and ship full stack features in Explore.

  • Own and complete development tasks autonomously, demonstrating your commitment to deadlines and quality control.

  • Contribute to tackling technical debt, showcasing a proactive approach to improving our codebase and systems.

  • Participate in peer code reviews, encouraging a collaborative and learning-oriented environment within the team.

  • Document your work and share knowledge with teammates, fostering a culture of open communication and continual learning.

  • Engage actively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating your ability to communicate clearly and escalate issues promptly.

  • Mentor junior engineers, promoting a supportive and inclusive team dynamic.

What You Bring To The Role
  • You are motivated to âGet things done and make things betterâ. You have a desire to take projects over the finish line and iterate on the process on the next turn.

  • Proven professional experience with JavaScript ES6, React, Redux, TypeScript, and Jest.

  • Experience with Styled Components, Ant Design, and Monorepo is a bonus.

  • Experience with Angular.js is a plus.

  • A clear understanding of web application development concepts and best practices.

  • Demonstrable ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a diverse audience.

  • A growth mindset, with the ability to receive and provide constructive feedback.

  • A passion for learning, keeping up to date with industry trends, and implementing best practices.

  • An adaptable nature, demonstrating your ability to handle change in a dynamic work environment.

The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zÅ154,000.00-zÅ230,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.
