GE Vernova Engineering Internship

GE Vernova offers variety of internships in different engineering teams across Engineering Innovation Center located in Warsaw, Poland. Internship involves wide range of engineering day to day activities in field of Gas Turbine Engineering. Those activities cover various components throughout their full lifecycle, from conceptual design through manufacturing, service up to analysis of their in-field reliability. Engineering spirit and creativity are key factors for a successful projects fulfillment. Depending on applicant’s range of competences and/or preferred career path students recruitment is open in following positions:
- Repair/Outage Engineer
(mechanical, basic knowledge of welding/brazing processes) - Mechanical Engineer
(skills in NX) - Controls Engineer
(knowledge in IT/Automation) - Materials&Processes Engineer
(skills in metallographic microscopy, knowledge in materials science – steels and superalloys) - Tooling Engineer
(mechanical, skills in CAD – NX, Ansys Workbench and knowledge of GD&T) - Materials/Joining Engineer
(basic knowledge of welding/brazing processes, knowledge in materials science) - Reliability Data Engineer
(skills in programming/maintaining database, SQL, Python) - Reliability Engineer
(reliability knowledge, Python) - Software Engineer
(knowledge of .NET, C# environment, Visual Studio, CAD – NX)
Requirements:
- Communicative Level of English
- Studying at Engineering Faculty – current students or graduates
Will be a plus:
- Basic knowledge about gas turbines/power engineering
- Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering/Strength of Materials
- Primary knowledge of mechanical drawing
- CAD systems knowledge
- Programming skills

- Repair/Outage Engineer
(profil mechaniczny, znajomość podstaw procesów spawania/lutowania) - Mechanical Engineer
(znajomość programu NX) - Controls Engineer
(wiedza z zakresu IT/Automatyki) - Materials&Processes Engineer
(obsługa mikroskopów metalograficznych, znajomość metalurgii stali i superstopów) - Tooling Engineer
(profil mechaniczny, znajomość programów CAD – NX, Ansys Workbench oraz GD&T) - Materials/Joining Engineer
(znajomość procesów spawania i lutowania, wiedza z zakresu materiałoznawstwa) - Reliabiity Data Engineer
(umiejętność utrzymywania/programowania baz danych, SQL, Python) - Reliability Engineer
(wiedza z zakresu niezawodności, Python) - Software Engineer
(znajomość .NET, środowiska C#, Visual Studio, CAD – NX)
Wymagania:
- Komunikatywna znajomość języka angielskiego.
- Studia na kierunkach inżynierskich - w trakcie lub ukończone
Mile widziane:
- Podstawowa wiedza na temat turbin gazowych/energetyki
- Podstawy mechaniki/wytrzymałości materiałów
- Podstawowa znajomość rysunku technicznego
- Znajomości środowiska CAD
- Podstawowe umiejętności programowania
