Weâre looking for an exceptional Senior or Principal Software Engineer with Tech Lead experience to build and grow a new team in Warsaw, in the Product Security organization. 

The Product Security team ensures that Snowflake products are built and shipped with the highest level of security. Our team drives the security development lifecycle of new products in collaboration with multiple product, security and engineering teams. We build software to design and secure production access for employees and protect customer data.

In this role, you will design, build and support software solutions to track and secure employee access to production services and to customer data. You will have the opportunity to help set the direction for the security infrastructure used by engineers across the company. The systems you build must be natively multi-cloud, highly-reliable and scale to match Snowflakeâs massive and distributed footprint.

AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER YOU WILL:
  • Design, develop and scale security solutions that enable Snowflake employees achieve their business goals while protecting sensitive customer data
  • Partner with security, engineering and product teams to define and set the strategy for security practices and processes.
  • Lead and manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
OUR IDEAL SENIOR ENGINEER WILL HAVE:
  • 6+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production, with recent experience in building large scale cloud services.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • Strong development skills in one or more of the following languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++, Go.
  • Experience working with infrastructure from major cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
  • Security mindset
