Client Details

Our client is an international business with a worldwide presence. We are supporting them in hiring the best talent for a strategic position in their Shared Services Center in Poznań. The person in this role will take responsibility for excellent service delivery to the EMEA region by successfully leading a large team of accounting and finance experts.

Description

  • Managing a large team within R2R, P2P, O2C and other finance areas , providing leadership and inspiration
  • Developing a strategic plan for finance operations delivered by the center in the next years and driving it to completion
  • Focusing on efficient service delivery with excellent quality
  • Cultivating a continuous improvement mindset and driving optimisation initiatives
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders in EMEA
  • Managing metrics, reporting, quality, and policy development to improve operations and align with business strategy
  • Optimization of Process through maximization of efficiency, cost reduction and service quality improvement
  • Supporting transition of new services into the center
  • Ensuring adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures while upholding internal controls to reduce risks

Profile

  • Several years of experience in senior leadership roles in finance operations (SSC and/or BPO)
  • Track record in leading large teams of min. 100+
  • In-depth knowledge of international accounting principles and policies as well as finance business processes
  • Fluency in Polish and English, both in writing and speaking
  • Proven ability in analytic and strategic thinking, with a proven history of creating and executing effective strategies
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of setting a positive example, inspiring teams, and offering constructive feedback
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and with customers/stakeholders
