About this opportunity

The Credit & Collateral Architecture team is expanding and seeking experienced an Enterprise Architect to operate at an portfolio level in context of defining the solutions within and across domain/s and related service areas across the full service bank and associated finance entities. They are supported by engineers and solution architects to develop working software across the full SDLC.

The role mandates defining the target architecture vision for the Credit Risk and Collateral Service Area and provide leadership within a domain with in depth knowledge of the regulatory and prudential environment of the EU and Nordic markets. The candidate must be able to conceptualise the architecture solutions across architecture service areas through defined transition and target architectures inclusive of identifying and managing cross /intra domain dependencies and risks. You will be the trusted business advisor that can shape strategy, develop technology implementation options and engineer solutions that achieve the business and technology objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and manage the credit risk and collateral domain projects that have cross enterprise impacts through all phases of the project lifecycle from defining the strategic roadmap with business, developing the technology blueprint, planning the phased IT implementation, setting up the team and the governance structures related to the production rollout /project activities.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory and prudential requirements based on EU directives not limited to but inclusive of Basel III/ IV, IFRS 9 , BCBS 239, EBA responsible lending guidelines is required in this role.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all business touch points in the domain related to loan origination , credit assessment and monitoring, channel integration, pricing, analytics, decisioning, debt collection, scoring, rating and risk modelling.
• Experience in designing data driven processes that support workflow, case management, credit risk monitoring, assessment and decision strategies. Herein, and data and information management focus is a mandatory skill.
• Focus on credit risk and collateral management for corporate and institutional businesses would be advantageous.
• Influence the business and technology direction at the divisional or enterprise level based on broad expertise across multiple software platforms, technologies and diverse data products.
• Lead and mentor a small team of architects and engineers within a architecture domain with emphasis on improving collaboration and staff engagement.

You’ll join a team of experienced architects. The role is based in Helsinki; Gdańsk; Gdynia; Oslo; Stockholm; Warszawa.

• Are flexible/willing to work across this solution and delivery landscape which includes but is not limited to only SAFe.

Your experience and background: 

• 10+ years of related work experience in the areas related to the Credit Risk and Collateral Service area i.e. Loan Origination, Collateral Management, Debt Collection, Default Management, Risk Modelling, Regulatory Reporting, Decisioning, Scoring, Rating, Data Governance, Business Intelligence and/or Data Warehousing.
• A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a client-facing consulting delivery role managing in an onsite/offshore delivery model with emphasis on collaborative working through use of virtual teams.
