Our Engineering team is a group of deeply passionate engineers who are breaking new ground in cloud computing and web scalability. We organize and sort terabytes of data and develop solutions used by millions of users every single day. We design products that make sophisticated research simple. Engineering focuses on these tenets; Platform-oriented, API First, Secure, One Product (Our customers shouldnât have to learn two different ways of solving the same problem), and Quality (Our customers rely on our products to drive their businesses. Our software must work. If a feature is buggy, donât release it (if it hasnât been released yet), fix it or take it out.

Things You'll Do
- You develop and design test frameworks, test tools, and automation for complex, distributed SaaS systems for other STEs, SDETs, and SDEs to use.
- Develop and design load & performance tools to allow verification of scale for our distributed SaaS systems by STEs, SDETs, SDEs
- You define and implement metrics to resolve test effectiveness and the overall quality of software.
- Maintain and monitor tools and services which have significant traffic
- Partner directly with other engineers as customers to gather requirements and feedback
- You research, share, recommend, and drive adoption of new technologies, standard methodologies, and trends.
- You help your team evolve by actively participating in the code review process, design discussions, planning, and post-mortems.
- You mentor and develop your other team members.
What We Are Looking For On Your Resume
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 0-2 years professional coding experience in a programming language like Java or Python, knowledge of JavaScript, Ruby or Perl are a bonus
- Proficiency with a broad range of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns; knowing when it is appropriate to use them (and when it is not)
- Basic knowledge about designing software systems
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture and distributed systems. Experience testing webservices is a plus. Experience with Performance / Scalability / reliability testing is also preferred
- Understanding and practical knowledge of Continuous Integration process
- Annual Leave: 20 or 26 annual leave days per annum plus an additional day for each year of service (to a max of 5).
