Security Architect - Identity and Access Management 

 

Why We Have This Role   In today's complex cybersecurity landscape, effective identity and access management is crucial to safeguarding our systems and sensitive data. The Security Architect in IAM is a key role responsible for designing and implementing secure IAM solutions, directly impacting our organizationâs ability to protect assets while maintaining compliance and trust with our customers.   How Youâll Find Success

  • Drive IAM Innovation: Lead initiatives to research, assess, and implement leading-edge IAM technologies and solutions that address authentication, authorization, and identity governance.
  • Guide IAM Operations: Oversee the daily implementation and management of IAM services, ensuring adherence to security protocols and operational efficiency.
  • Shape Security Strategy: Build and execute a comprehensive IAM strategy that aligns with the company's risk profile and overarching business objectives.
  • Manage IAM Projects: Oversee complex IAM initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while proactively managing risks and fostering a culture of adaptability.
  • Foster a Culture of Excellence: Promote an environment that encourages knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning among team members. Act as a resource and mentor for colleagues, guiding them in their professional development and enhancing our collective capabilities in IAM practices. Your contributions will help build a well-informed, high-performing team committed to achieving security objectives.
What Weâre Looking For On Your Resume
  • Extensive Architectural Expertise: 8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a proven track record of designing and architecting robust IAM solutions. Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives, drive innovation in security architectures, and effectively manage complex projects to enhance organizational security posture and compliance.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of IAM technologies, protocols (like SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and identity governance frameworks. Familiarity with compliance standards is a plus.
  • Demonstrated Initiative Leadership: Proven experience in driving large-scale IAM initiatives across the organization, showcasing your ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and align diverse stakeholders toward common security objectives. Your track record should include successfully implementing comprehensive IAM solutions that enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate IAM challenges into actionable solutions that integrate with business goals and risk management frameworks.
  • Collaboration & Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while building constructive partnerships across the organization.
