Graduate Development Program in Logistics

As a Philips GDP Trainee, you will join a 2-year program, in which you will be fulfilling 2 challenging assignments in different areas within Philips. A tailored learning journey will be offered over the course of the program, as well as ongoing âlearning on the jobâ and learning from each other by leveraging the power of the global graduate cohort. ­

During the first rotation, you will be part of IWDâs Global Transportation team, which is part of the global organization team for integrated warehousing and distribution. Within the team, you connect throughout the world with factories, suppliers and market on transport related matters in a very dynamic international environment.

• Support and maintenance of the tool Transport Analytics

• Be first point of contact for business & markets in case on content related questions

• Team-up and align with ISC (Integrated Supply Chain ) analytics team (technical owner)

• Collect new user requirements and drive continuous improvement of the application

• User deployment and new user training

 

During your second rotation, you will join the Trade Compliance Team, which is a wide area of Customs-related activities, consisting of International Law, Logistics, Vendor & Broker Management, and others. From build and deployment to local execution and continuous improvement, this Team ensures that all import and export transactions are in conformance with the laws and regulations of the countries involved.

• Supporting the digital transformation across the ISC ( Integrated Supply Chain)

• Finding ways to improve business processes and working with others to make sure changes happen successfully

• Looking at data to find problems that affect ISC works

• Create, improve, and manage processes for global trade services in different areas like customs, exports, inventory, trade deals, and dangerous goods

• Work with different teams to solve unexpected problems that come up

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or Information Management;

• Max. 2 years of experience;

• Having an analytical and data-driven mindset;

• Experience with online BI tools (Qlik, PowerBI), MS office would be a great plus;

• Fluent in English both written and spoken.

• Contract of employment for 24-30 months

• Complete your HireVue online assessment until 3rd May

• In week commencing May 13th you will be informed whether you belong to the best performers and if you will be invited to the final assessment center, which will take place beginning of June 2024. During this event, you will work on several challenging exercises together with similar-minded graduates. Of course, we will also provide you with more information on the Graduate Development Program and the assignments. This is the final step in the selection process. Following week, we will inform you of the outcome.
