Alfa Laval Polska is looking a dynamic and results -driven Business Development Manager - Food Systems. In this role, you will be an active member of the Food Systems Sales team and will be responsible for delivering and securing profitable growth within the Food Systems portfolio, creating project sales within the production of protein, starch, vegetable fats and beverages.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage sales plans and activities for your specific area
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic sales approaches
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements
  • Proactively look for and manage leads from market and customers, and convert them into real business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the global engineering team to define best solutions meeting Customer’s expectations
  • Provide technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and offering expertise on product application and implementation
  • Participate in industrial events, such as exhibition and seminars, sharing the Alfa Laval’s offer and advantages to wider audience
  • Drive and maintain customer opportunity pipeline in CRM and other tools

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients at all levels
  • Proven experience in Protein, Starch Industry, Vegetable Oil and Food or Beverage processing, you have mechanical and thermodynamics understanding and able to read mass and energy balance
  • You have a proven track record of relevant project or equipment sales within the industries of interest for this role
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Food processing, Machinery Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Automation Engineering)
  • Experience in leading projects within international team
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients
  • Fluency in English and Polish
