• Interpretation of new standards and regulations

• Translating new standards and regulations into clear requirements on business- and market level.

• Ensure that new requirements are captured by the business / market and implementing actions are running.

• Review implementation of deployed standards and regulations and ensure corrective actions when compliance is at risk.

• Execute compliance assessments and audits.- Is consulted in case of non-compliances for defining strategy and countermeasures.

• Informing businesses timely on upcoming regulations and co define strategy

• Responsible to ensure that processes are in place to assure products/systems/software releases and changes meetcompliance standards throughout the life cycle

• Defines criteria per product/system towards NPDL process o Gates MS CR to assure criteria are met

• Secures the implementation of updates of relevant standards and policies throughout the lifecycle of the product

• Secures relevant approbations (certifications and evidence e.g. CE, CCC, UL declarations

• Assures compliancy data is available and accessible within limited time period

• Performs Compliancy audits based on sampling (look for evidence generated in I2M and O2C) processes

• Defines, implements and manages compliancy framework (including reporting) to assure continuous compliancy on both specifications as regulatory aspects

• Continuously improve our knowledge base and risk assessment

• Oversee and coordinate the regulatory compliance process, ensuring the timely submission of plans and documents internally to regulatory agencies, internal and external customers.

• Experience in safeguarding compliancy with international standards and regulatory matters relevant for the lighting industry

• Extensive experience in product innovation and life-cycle management processes in related industry in Quality- or R&D-functions

• PhD or Masterâs degree in Engineering.

• In-depth knowledge of appropriate global regulations and standards relevant for the Lighting Industry.

• Deep understanding of global standards and regulatory frameworks relevant for the lighting industry

• Deep understanding of internal innovation and life-cycle management processes

• Solution oriented while addressing legal requirements and compliance

• Able to defend the position internally as well as externally.

• Excellent communication skills both verbally as in writing

• Understanding of Quality Tools

• General knowledge of the product portfolio and in depth knowledge about technical aspects

• Understanding of main quality processes: NPDL, ORT and Change Control process

• Experienced in Courageous Conversations

• Project Management skills

• Build trusted relationships (internal stakeholders)
