Would you like to be our new Senior IT Analyst?

 

We are now looking for a Senior IT Analyst in the Application Management team to strengthen our team in Cross-border Payments area. If you are passionate about complex real-time systems or managing data then this might be a perfect fit

 

You will be the technical expert for the applications assigned and are expected to support in any technical issues with the assigned applications in production. Working as DevOps you are also expected to provide expertise to the development team when new functionalities are built on top of the existing applications. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving multi-level application issues. Collecting system logs, monitoring data and other information, estimating the impact, invoking more support staff if needed, proposing solutions and verifying that the IT service has been recovered and restored
  • Preparing deployments in collaboration with other stakeholders and deploy fixes, preventative changes and minor enhancements
  • Continuously improving the IT service that we provide by proposing preventive measures to avoid recurring incidents. Identifying ways to improve production stability, efficiency  and monitoring

 

Responsibilities:

  • Having in-depth knowledge of the applications you support and contribute to all processes related to maintenance and operations. Application specific training will be provided
  • Understanding the technical impact of an incident and prioritizing maintenance work accordingly
  • Working in close collaboration with other stakeholder teams from the inception of a project/change till the time it is live in production
  • Working includes occasional overtime and may also include on-call duties

Location
The role is based in Helsinki or Gdansk/Gdynia.

  • Have good working knowledge how IT systems are deployed and how monitoring and logging is used when running critical systems in production
  • Are familiar with some of  the infrastructure or middleware technologies that our applications use such as Weblogic, SQL, Kafka, Containers
  • Are eager and curious to always learn more, with “can do” attitude and characteristic to finish the job till it’s really done
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken

 

Your experience and background:

  • You have several years of equivalent work experience and preferably a degree in Information Technology
