Senior Finance Controller

Supply Chain Finance – Logistics Support Team - Gdansk

 

There is an exciting opportunity available within the SC Finance Central Support. Team in Gdansk.  As part of our transition to allocate greater senior responsibilities to our Central Support Team, we are now introducing new positions for Senior Controllers. These positions will play a crucial role in facilitating close collaboration between our local Business Partner Teams and Central Support Teams, as well as driving our global process standardization agenda.

“As a Senior Controller, you will be the crucial link between the Central Logistics Support Team and the Finance Business Partners, for a designated core market(s).  You will connect the Central Team with local Business Partner LT-forums, to link our global alignment agenda with the need for custom local support. Join our dynamic cross-team community and contribute to our goal of excellence in logistics finance.” says Senior Finance Manager Justyna Aleksandrowska

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing financial processes for the logistics function with a high degree of

complexity/materiality, while ensuring alignment to inbound, outbound, and warehouse

  • Representing Gdansk Team in local LT- forum and being main point of contact for the local finance and operation teams
  • Presenting month-end net results to stakeholders
  • Coordinating and ensuring that significant variances and identified issues are investigated and resolved centrally
  • Being Single Point of Contact for a specific global area/process driving global initiatives to optimize as well as challenge compliance towards stakeholders.

 

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a goal-oriented, proactive, and decisive mindset. Strong financial background, stakeholder management skills, and experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

As the department is based in Gdansk, Poland and these positions require face-to-face interactions with local stakeholders, you will have to expect some travel to your dedicated operational locations. #
