The Role

We are seeking a Risk Management Specialist to be involved in the risk evaluation process throughout the lifespan of merchant accounts. This includes analyzing various aspects such as KYC, AML, business models, credit risks, scheme compliance, and the possibilities of fraud and chargebacks. The goal is to ensure merchants comply with local regulations and Worldline's standards. The role of AML/KYC Analyst plays a crucial part in Worldline's ambition for growth and maintaining high compliance levels among the merchant base.

Responsibilities

  • Review new merchant profiles to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies during onboarding.
  • Monitor existing merchants to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Evaluate customer risk levels based on business model, transaction volume, and location.
  • Analyze business models according to card scheme regulations and conduct lookups in sanction lists.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to team and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate records of KYC activities, customer interactions, and compliance documentation.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices related to KYC and AML.
  • Participate in training sessions for the team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and maintain attention to detail while seeing the big picture. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced global environment are key.

  • University degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Previous experience in CDD, KYC management, or Underwriting.
  • Proficiency in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and customer-oriented mindset required.
  • Experience in payment, financial, or high-paced operational industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of AML compliance or risk assessment desired.
