This role involves coordinating line haul operations, communicating with drivers, customers, and customs officials, and providing regular updates to the dispatch manager.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and plan effectively with team members to dispatch company resources
• Experience with Fleet Manager, DAT, Load Link, and Open Load Boards
• Communicate freight requirements and procedures clearly to drivers
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and promptly
• Update customer web portals with real-time load information
• Monitor and update shipment statuses using internal applications
• Analyze resource utilization and generate necessary reports

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in the trucking industry or dispatch
• Newcomers with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and efficiently
• Effective multitasking skills with the capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) with a knack for learning new software quickly
