The Role

Role of E2E Planning Team Manager is crucial within E2E Planning and reports to one of the Heads of departments – DRP&Inventory, Operations Planning, or Materials Planning. The individual in this role is accountable for ensuring excellent service in Imperial Brands markets, optimizing inventory levels, and maximizing asset utilization to minimize supply chain costs. Depending on the specific area of focus, the Team Manager will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the Global Supply Chain, primarily engaging with Clusters, Markets teams, or Factory teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations that add significant value to end consumers. The main emphasis of this role is on enhancing demand coverage, managing stock levels to sustain top-notch market supply performance, and fostering ongoing enhancements in supply chain planning. As a Team Leader, the individual is expected to provide guidance, coaching, and create a conducive environment for talent development.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Oversee team management, comprising planners responsible for specific business areas, by motivating the team, delivering regular feedback, and coaching.
  • Ensure market supply by proactively monitoring and mitigating potential supply risks in relevant planning areas.
  • Supervise the creation, review, and adjustment of operational and tactical distribution plans/production schedules, serve as a team consultant, and escalate critical service/inventory risks.
  • Manage relationships with key business partners in Cluster/Factory/Central functions through timely feedback and structured communication.
  • Promote a customer-centric approach internally and externally, monitoring service and inventory KPIs for the respective business segment.
  • Offer E2E management analysis for recent sales periods and monitor future availability outlooks, develop comprehensive risk mitigation plans in case of service disruptions, identify improvement opportunities, and drive efficiency enhancements.
  • Actively participate in establishing the E2E Supply Chain Hub and enhance value through continuous process improvements.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Hold a University degree (BA or MA), preferably related to Supply Chain, Business, or a technical field.
  • Possess over 5 years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in planning within the FMCG industry.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills, validated by leading teams in a corporate setting for at least 1 year.
  • Have a profound understanding of E2E supply chain processes, with exposure to market and production operations.
  • Exhibit a successful track record in project management, aligning outcomes with strategic objectives.
  • Display robust analytical and communication capabilities.
  • Be adaptable and excel in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
  • Language proficiency: Excellent spoken and written English, as English is the primary business language. Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, German, French, Polish, etc., would be advantageous given our global operations.
