About the Sr. Financial Analyst Content FP&A CoE Role at WBD
The Senior Financial Analyst for Content FP&A CoE will support WBD Global content programming operations. This position involves preparing accurate, timely, and relevant financial reporting, including ad hoc analysis and monthly forecast reporting to aid in business decisions.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast processes for content/cash flow and content amortization expense
  • Review all contracts and amendments for budget and rights information; deliver superior quality financial information timely to Content FP&A
  • Reconcile actuals vs. forecasts/budget/prior year and provide variance explanations; conduct Ad Hoc analysis when needed
  • Participate in meetings such as Monthly Forecast closing, Actuals vs. Forecast Review, Cash Flow, Programming Financials Review, and more
  • Support the development of systems, tools, and processes to facilitate efficient and accurate analysis
  • Constantly seek process and routine improvements in the duties and tasks under your scope

Qualifications & Experience...

  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, operations, or other relevant analytic business roles
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, and SAP S4HANA is a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, strong initiative, and the ability to work well in a team
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial data analysis tools, experience in financial modeling
  • Critical thinker, strong problem solver, ability to build trust-based relationships, and work with high volumes of data under tight deadlines
  • Experience in the Entertainment industry is beneficial
