Join the Dolby Vision technology development team and be part of something amazing As a successful candidate, you will have the chance to contribute to and influence the development of video technologies across different software formats for consumer devices like TVs, Smartphones, Tablets, etc., as well as the Professional Software used by major tech players worldwide.

The role is within the engineering team located in Wroclaw, Poland, and presents an opportunity to engage with other Dolby engineering and business units in the USA and Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence in Software engineering for the Imaging team.
  • Design and implement efficient CI systems and solutions.
  • Develop and optimize the development and deployment of platform technology components.
  • Collaborate internationally to implement the best operational solutions across the engineering organization.

Key Requirements:

  • Familiarity with source control management systems like Perforce, Gitlab, Github, Gerrit, and code branching/merging strategies.
  • Proficiency in Git.
  • Hands-on experience with Gitlab CI or similar tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Practical knowledge in software package management systems.
  • Professional programming skills in scripting languages such as Python.
  • Experience with managing on-demand instances using AWS Technologies or similar services like GCP, Azure.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members (Developers, QA).

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Conan package manager.
  • Expertise in setting up and maintaining continuous integration agents, including virtual and physical servers, and embedded system boards.
  • Knowledge of operating system configuration and administration, including Linux, Windows, Mac.
  • Experience with tools enabling automatic provisioning and deployment, such as Docker and/or Ansible.
