As part of Ericsson's R&D, our Cloud Common Components and Automation (CCC&A) team holds complete product responsibility for the Automated Acceptance Test (AAT) framework. AAT serves as a tool to offer test automation capabilities independently or integrated into CI/CD pipelines. It's designed to simplify the creation of acceptance test cases for Packet Core products. The AAT framework comprises a GUI-based Frontend and Python-powered Backend.

The recipients of AAT include Ericsson R&D and major telecom operators globally.

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the business value we deliver. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us and lead cutting-edge Ericsson projects.

What you will do

  • Be responsible for AAT framework feature development and/or AAT test service development
  • Collaborate with your team on developing functionalities from requirement analysis to product documentation

You will bring

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fields
  • Strong analytical thinking abilities
  • Proven experience in Python programming or web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular framework)
  • Background in test analysis, execution, and automation
  • Proficiency in Selenium
  • Competency in Unix shell scripting and Linux/Unix operations
  • Effective English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Fast learner with innovative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team and independently
  • Willingness to take on challenges and learn

Great if you have

  • Understanding of 3GPP telecommunication standards and protocols such as VoLTE, SRVCC, CSFB, IoT, or IMS
  • Experience in network management including L2/L3 switching, VLAN, etc.
