You will act as a senior data scientist in an international research team, focused on exploration of a vast amount of online advertising data, development of predictive and segmentation models to optimise campaign strategy.


Technologies used:
Python, Docker, SQL, Hadoop, Kubernetes, C#/Java/C/C++/Scala

What will you do:

  • Apply advanced machine learning/statistical algorithms scalable to huge data sets to:
  • Determine the most meaningful ad, served to the right user at the optimal time, and the best price
  • Identify behaviours, interests and segments of web users across billions of transactions to find the most optimal audience for a given advertising activity
  • Eliminate suspicious / nonhuman traffic
  • Work closely with other Data Scientists, development, and product teams to implement these algorithms into productionlevel software
  • Contribute in identifying opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
  • Maintaining our products, supporting customers in analysing the reasons behind the decisions made by our algorithms and look for new improvements in the process of striving for their excellence.
What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years working experience in a similar position (2+ years as a senior welcomed)
  • Knowledge in Python, SQL, Git and Docker
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related
  • Problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Good data manipulation skills and willingness to work with large datasets
  • Knowledge of basic machine learning techniques (clustering methods, regression, decision tree learning, Kmeans, etc.) and having reallife experience
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts, including statistical inference
  • At least basic coding skills in one of the following languages: C#/Java/C/C++/Scala
