AP Accountant

AP Accountant - New Team Miejsce pracy: Łódź Recruitment for Our Client is a media company that has decided to centralise its processes.

Your responsibilities Playing a part in achieving the target of processing invoices on time as per our agreement and making sure payments are made promptly
Handling vendor invoices using the system
Managing employee expense reports
Responding to inquiries from vendors and employees by phone and email
Checking expense reports before approving them for payment
Getting bi-weekly payments ready for invoices
SOX regulations knowledge
Assisting in figuring out accruals for the end of the month
Working with different departments within the company
Employer requirements Proficiency in accounting principles
Previous exposure to invoice processing, month-end closing procedures, and supplier interactions
Familiarity with systems integration, including the implementation of new ERPs
Good level of English language, basic German knowledge
Preferable experience with Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
