Technologies-expected : Red Hat Cent OS Ubuntu VMware KVM Xen technologies-optional : Bash Python Go-lang Ansible Puppet Chef AWS Microsoft Azure about-project : We are looking for a skilled Linux Engineer to join our IT team.


The ideal candidate will be in charge of designing, implementing, and overseeing Linux-based systems and servers to ensure top-notch availability and performance.

This role demands a profound grasp of Linux operating systems, networking, and security practices.

responsibilities :
  • Design, install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues in Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with fellow IT professionals to create and deploy efficient IT solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and apply performance tuning techniques.
  • Guarantee system security through best practice implementation and regular security checks.
  • Automate day-to-day tasks using scripting or other automation tools.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and modifications.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for necessary 24/7 support.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Carry out disaster recovery exercises to ensure data integrity and availability.


requirements-expected : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

4-6 years of experience in Linux system administration and engineering.


Thorough knowledge of Linux operating systems, especially Red Hat, Cent OS, or Ubuntu. Extensive experience with server virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, or Xen.

Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, Go-lang.

Deep understanding of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.).

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, or Azure is advantageous.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Systems Performance tuning Strong communication and documentation skills.
