This opportunity involves leading projects and configuring new functionalities and enhancements within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) / Advanced Compensation suite. In this role, you will provide functional leadership, engage in project management, analyze business systems, and ensure that Workday configurations comply with local requirements worldwide.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Workday Implementation and Project Delivery:
    • Act as a key Workday configuration resource to ensure successful implementation of new functionalities within project timelines
    • Conduct discovery sessions to understand business requirements
    • Develop proof of concept to demonstrate Workday configuration
    • Document requirements, design, and processes thoroughly
    • Lead configuration testing and collaborate with HRIS and Technical Solutions teams
    • Create high-quality deliverables and presentations with attention to detail
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Maintain process controls and assist in process and system change implementations
    • Participate in process improvement projects and provide recommendations
    • Support the development, testing, and rollout of enhancements
    • Offer advice on Workday configuration to HRIS Solutions team
    • Attend update trainings as required
  • Project Management Office:
    • Support PMO efforts for Workday projects
    • Define and monitor critical path activities, and resolve or escalate issues
    • Utilize project management tools and methodologies
    • Ensure quality assurance for projects and documentation delivery
    • Uphold Warner Bros. Discovery security and privacy policies
  • Perform other duties as directed by senior HR Services members
JOB QUALIFICATION:
  • Work Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Workday HCM / Advanced Compensation implementations
    • 2-3 years of project management experience
    • Experience in ERP environment and process development
    • Consulting experience is a plus
    • HR or Payroll operational experience preferred
    • Support for multiple locations desired
  • Education, Training, or Certification:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
    • PMI and/or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Knowledge/Skills:
    • Hands-on experience in Workday implementation with HR function knowledge
    • Proficiency in Workday Security and custom report building
    • Ability to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into system functionality
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools
