Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Supporting the month-end close process from an FP&A perspective with variance analysis focusing on cost P&L
  • Performing detailed reviews of actual spend with finance business partners and budget holders
  • Prepare manual accrual journals/reclasses and execute with RTR GBS team during and after month-end close
  • Assisting in the production of the monthly cost forecast submission and updating related systems
  • Supporting the annual budget process, including designing templates and critically reviewing planning assumptions
  • Supporting the financial review of key initiatives focused on driving business performance, including creating and analyzing business cases
  • Providing insight into financial performance through accurate, timely, and relevant reporting
  • Performing ad hoc tasks and reporting related to cost management and data governance
  • Continuously reviewing and improving processes supporting financial planning and analysis activities and management information
  • Developing existing analytical tools to help FP&A teams/stakeholders monitor financial results
  • Providing any additional support required in financial reporting activities

Qualifications & Experience...

  • At least 1 year of working experience in a financial department
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Finance, Accounting, or Business management degree
  • General accounting knowledge
  • Advanced MS Excel and good PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in using EPM solutions such as SAP BPC is nice to have
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proactive and hands-on approach
  • Assured self-starter on relevant projects and work is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Willingness to pursue professional qualification in Finance (i.e., CIMA/ACCA) is a plus
