Our client, a distinguished global finance centre in Krakow, is looking for a seasoned Assistant Vice President to play an integral role in their Reporting Operations team. This is a pivotal opportunity for someone with profound regulatory reporting experience and a strong knowledge of Basel regulations to advance in their career with a leading organisation in the finance sector.

Position Overview

The Assistant Vice President in Reporting Ops will be a core contributor to the finance team, preparing regulatory reporting returns, sharing their expertise on Risk Weighted Assets (RWAs) and supporting key regulatory reporting transformation initiatives. In this role, you'll not only streamline processes but also greatly influence the business's strategic response to financial challenges, reinforcing the company's standing in the finance sector.

Responsibilities

  • Ingeniously prepare regulatory reporting returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Effectively use your specialist knowledge to guide the team on RWAs
  • Lead the contribution to robust stress testing reports
  • Be an agent for change in regulatory reporting transformation projects
  • Drive continuous enhancement in reporting procedures and systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' proven experience in regulatory reporting within the finance industry
  • Strong grasp of Basel regulation and knowledge of various RWA risk types
  • Prior experience in crafting regulatory returns and performing impact analyses
  • Familiarity with SQL and VBA is beneficial
  • Demonstrable ability to maintain composure and effectively manage tight deadlines
