Box's mobile applications have been featured on both Google Play and the App Store.Your Responsibilities will include:
  • Utilizing mobile capabilities to enhance user experience in managing content and collaborating with teams
  • Developing tools for organizing, interacting, and annotating content seamlessly
  • Integrating robust security features into the apps
  • Enhancing the features of Box mobile apps through various improvements
  • Ensuring high-quality code through thorough testing practices
  • Promoting best practices and contributing to the team's growth through code reviews
  • Utilizing analytics to drive product strategy
  • Collaborating with different teams and influencing technical directions
  • Continuously learning and staying updated on mobile platforms advancements
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Experience in developing native Android apps or SDKs
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
  • Strong knowledge of Android frameworks and software design principles
  • Experience with testing, CI/CD, and collaboration
  • Passion for personal and team development
  • Engagement in data analysis for decision-making
  • Background in computer science or related field
Percentage of Time Allocation:
  • 70% coding
  • 20% architecture and design work
  • 10% meetings
