We're looking for a Java Developer to join our team

About the position:

As a Senior Java Developer, you'll work on developing new web applications, adding new features, and maintaining existing ones. You'll also be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting any cases of failure. Understanding the business context and finding the best solutions to meet demands are crucial aspects of this role.

Our team at Cross Channel Services focuses on delivering cross-functional services for the online banking platform of Commerzbank to ensure stable and highly available banking services. We operate in agile teams that include Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Experts, Developers, Application Engineers, and Testers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Writing and maintaining React UI
  • Developing and maintaining Java / Spring web applications
  • Participating in agile development using Jira and Confluence

Key technologies & skills we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of Java
  • Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot
  • Proficiency in Maven
  • Good grasp of SQL, JPA
  • Experience with REST
  • English proficiency at B2 level

Nice to have:

  • Basic understanding of Apache Camel
  • Introduction to Domain Driven Design
  • Familiarity with Sonar
  • Basic knowledge of Host Services
  • Basic knowledge of Commerzbank's frameworks and CI/CD processes
  • Basic understanding of SOAP

How to work with us?

Hybrid work model with 2-4 office visits per month at Ogrodowa 8 street (Łódź).
