Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel for our Legal team who will excel in our creative environment, utilizing their expertise to provide strategic, risk-aware counsel. If you are driven and self-reliant, with a proactive attitude and a strong interest in the video game industry, we are excited to hear from you.



Daily Responsibilities
  • Reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts related to the continuous activities of CD PROJEKT group companies (especially software license, IT implementation, outsourcing, administrative contracts), including contracts with international aspects.
  • Offering ongoing legal advice on topics requiring in-depth knowledge, particularly in civil, commercial, intellectual property law (such as copyright), and compliance matters.
  • Creating solutions and suggestions that take into account legal considerations, organizational requirements (especially business needs), and the needs of the Board/clients.
  • Independently leading or participating in intricate projects (including those involving multiple CD PROJEKT group companies) and assuming full responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Ongoing collaboration with IT, security, IT system implementation, administration, tax, finance, accounting departments, as well as coordination with external law firms, including international advisors.

Qualifications
  • Law degree from a reputable institution.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a standalone role as an in-house counsel in a global organization or as a lawyer in a respected law firm.
  • Familiarity with significant legal and non-legal factors (local or global) influencing the advisory domain.
  • Goal-oriented approach and autonomy in negotiating deadlines, requisites, and the final form of assistance with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in English, including legal terminology.

Nice to have
  • Continual legal education or qualifications as a legal advisor or advocate.
  • Passion for the video game industry.

Working mode

  • Office-First: primarily working from the Warsaw office for a minimum of 3 days per week.
