We are seeking a professional individual interested in expanding their knowledge of the financial markets sector and contributing to regulatory reform. Regulatory Operations professionals have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the environment and the broader business due to the high rate of change in regulatory reporting.

As a Business Analyst in the Regulatory Operations department, your responsibilities will include managing new business requests, implementing strategic initiatives, managing risk, and providing proactive client support. This role demands a motivated individual capable of collaborating with various groups to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting.

Our globally positioned team ensures the firm fulfills a variety of non-financial regulatory reporting obligations. The Regulatory Operations team undertakes reporting for external stakeholders in the EMEA region across a range of traded financial products and business lines.

  • How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
  • Contribute to the execution of non-financial regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Review business and functional specifications to assess their impact on existing regulatory obligations.
  • Manage client inquiries related to regulatory reporting while emphasizing client service.
  • Analyze system infrastructure to understand data flows and logic for capturing data.
  • Assist in implementing large-scale initiatives within the Global Regulatory Operations department.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support various reporting functions.
  • Train colleagues on complex workflows and processes.
  • Propose and drive new initiatives for the Regulatory reporting team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate issues clearly and provide timely escalation.
  • Interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of financial markets regulatory landscape.
  • Knowledge of financial risk and markets.
  • Understanding of different financial products.
  • Knowledge of project management and business analysis.
  • Interest in data analysis, process automation, and BI tools.
