ROLE OVERVIEW

This role involves providing direction, monitoring capacity, setting priorities, and implementing process improvements for assigned workstations. It is also the primary contact for handling issues during assembly or warehouse processes. Additionally, this role includes training new employees in the area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coach and train new employees and team members daily
  • Execute various assembly tasks and operate equipment based on instructions
  • Interpret assembly drawings and ensure product quality
  • Assign daily tasks to employees based on priority
  • Address issues in the area and make decisions related to product and order priorities
  • Offer suggestions for continuous improvement and identify root causes of issues
  • Coordinate between departments and functional areas
  • Ensure availability of materials for the job
  • Update completed work in the system promptly
  • Achieve or surpass performance objectives
  • Maintain a clean work station following procedures
  • Promote workplace safety and participate in safety programs
  • Exhibit core values of Integrity, Customer Responsiveness, Innovation, Contribution, Empowerment, and Continuous Improvement

REQUIREMENTS

Key Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in English language
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in reading manufacturing drawings and following instructions
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Professionalism and confidentiality maintenance
  • Capability to motivate and delegate effectively
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Time management and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Knowledge of KANBAN processes and LEAN principles
  • Reliability in attendance and punctuality

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work extra hours as needed

Preferred:

  • Experience in training and supervision

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, heavy lifting may be required
  • Use of steel-toed shoes
  • Typical production/warehouse environment
