For our Finance Department, we are currently looking for a Senior GL Accountant.

As a Senior GL Accountant will be responsible for all GL process. This role you will be based in Katowice.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month end closing activities in timely and accurate manner
  • Calculate and post journal entries
  • Monthly reporting to the Group
  • Maintain fixed asset process
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Intercompany reconciliation
  • Post bank statements
  • Provide information for financial reports and other analyses
  • Create and maintain process documentation
  • Support transition of further GL activities

We are looking for you to have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field (Finance & Accounting)
  • Good command of English (min. B2)
  • Experience in finance area, within BPO/SSC
  • Good understanding of GL processes
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Good level of problem-solving
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to details
  • Experience in process transition and preparation of operating instructions will be an asset
  • Readiness to work in the hybrid model
