What you'll be doing

We are looking for a skilled Tableau Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team on a cutting-edge data visualization and analysis project with one of the biggest players in finance in the country. Your role will involve setting up Tableau instances on AWS, performing detailed analysis, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning for optimal performance. You'll also develop and document technical architecture, troubleshoot server issues, and support content creators to enhance their dashboards. The position is a 6-month contract with possibility to extend. We prioritise candidates who can join and start as soon as possible.

How you'll spend your day

  • Determining infrastructure and platform requirements for Tableau projects, including setting up instances on AWS.
  • Analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Tableau instance performance or resolving deployment issues as needed.
  • Creating and documenting technical architecture, system design, performance test results, and other technical details of instance implementation.
  • Performing server maintenance, conducting health checks, and troubleshooting server-related issues.
  • Managing Tableau server administration on the Windows platform.
  • Overseeing the complete installation and configuration of Tableau servers, handling upgrades, monitoring performance, and maintaining scripts for automated tasks.
  • Managing changes, including software updates, patches, platform monitoring, and ensuring platform availability.

You'll be successfull if you have

  • Extensive (5 or more years) professional experience in IT.
  • Experience as a Tableau Server Administrator.
  • Experience with installing Tableau Server instances, particularly in cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of Tableau products (Desktop, Server, Prep Builder, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of AWS deployments.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Skills in Airflow and Python (preferred).
  • Experience in an Agile environment (preferred).
  • Proficiency in English and ability to work in a multicultural, diverse team.

Salary

EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your competencies, skills and experience.
